POPIA & Privacy Notice

AdamicSeed is committed to protecting your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). This notice explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights as a data subject.
1. Responsible party

2. Personal information we collect
- Identity and contact details (name, email, phone number) you submit through forms or at checkout;
- Billing and order details needed to process purchases;
- Account credentials, if you register an account;
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type and usage data collected via cookies (see our Cookie Policy);
- Any information you voluntarily provide in enquiries or correspondence.
3. Why we process your information
- to respond to enquiries and provide quotes;
- to process orders, payments and deliver digital products and services;
- to manage your account and provide support;
- to comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations;
- to improve our website and services;
- to send you information you have requested or consented to receive.
4. Lawful basis
We process personal information on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests, and compliance with the law, as permitted by POPIA.
5. Sharing your information
We may share personal information with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf (for example payment gateways, hosting and email providers). We require them to protect your information and to use it only for the agreed purpose. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Cross-border transfers
Some service providers may store data outside South Africa. Where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure a comparable level of protection as required by POPIA.
7. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
9. Your rights as a data subject
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction or deletion of your information;
- object to the processing of your information;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.

10. Complaints to the Information Regulator
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za, email enquiries@inforegulator.org.za.

We may update this notice from time to time. The current version will always appear on this page with its effective date.
